Weekend Update

FRIDAY - TT's First Birthday

W&N invited us to go to the new Chuck E Cheese for baby TT's birthday party. Once we arrived, the place was overly overly crowded and we shortly thereafter decided to choose a new place...

Soryn and KyKy were not very happy with that decision... We decided to head just down the street to Hungry Bear Pizza. Throughout the night - I tried to convince Soryn and KyKy that Hungry Bear was way better than Chuck E Cheese. They kindly disagreed and said, "Auntie, have you ever even been there?" No, no I haven't. Conversation ended.

SATURDAY - PCHS Soccer, New House and a Kick A** Halloween Party!

The Girls Soccer team had the Semi-Final game in Park City that Robbie was required to attend. We decided to join him at work and also went and visited our new house. I get more excited every time I see it. Dirt hole, cement, now it is actually coming together and looking somewhat like a living area. I'm not very good at imagining...it's much nicer to see an actual house!

The Girls Soccer team at the high school is amazing. They won region and are expected to win state. All of the girls loved holding Bran Bran after the game, he even got to go out on the field and give "Good game, High 5's" to the opposing team. I don't think we'll have any lack of babysitters when we move up there! And finally - Thanks to the creative party planners, The Farrs for a great Halloween party. We had quite the variety of people show up... Shrek, Princess and their little donkey, The Simpsons with baby Maggie, a whole slew of polygamist, a punk rocker and his prego punk wife, McCain and Palin, some crazy Ute fans, some weird bedroom role play somethings. Thanks to Josh and Kayla for the fun night.

SUNDAY - TT's Cake Party

'Pine View' Beams

OK, to start...this is Robbie, Shaylyn is vast asleep and I decided to post some of the newest pics of our house. I entitled this entry 'Pine View' Beams in consideration of my MoM. My parents and their friends like to get together on Friday nights to play cards. Well sometimes it gets a little competitive and they come up with strange little sayings. (If you've ever seen my license plate it is a tribute to my MoM also: 'MASH YA'...another story, another time) Any who, for those of you not familiar with the O'Town, there is a local reservoir or dam known as Pine View. So my Mother, in all her wisdom thinks, it's fun to say 'Pine View' in place of the word 'DAMN'.

Now onto our 'Pine View' Beams...

They took almost 2 weeks to get here and be installed!

Who likes their new garage?

Little by little. They tell us all of they framing will be done by next week. Here's hoping!

And I couldn't be more excited and relieved!!

New Driveway and Patio

We received a new driveway this week.

It was a special, special gift.

A gift we promise to use - over and over again.

We also received a back patio.

It was also a special gift.

A gift that we will allow all of you to share when invited over for a BBQ sometime.

I haven't been up there for over 2 weeks. Rob stopped by on Wednesday and took these photos. We've heard that the basement and main level framing is done and they're moving upstairs. It was such a long process to draw up house plans, loan garbage, permits and blah. Now it seems to be going super fast and we can't wait for each little step to get done!!
