Island Park

We went to the Rauzi cabin for the 24th of July... G'ma and G'pa Rauzi, Robbie's sister T~, the three B~ kids and us. Here are a few highlights...
  • Successfully drove to Island Park and home without having to pay the state of Idaho any speeding ticket fees (Robbie gets caught every time)!!
  • Bransen received his first black eye/cheek after smashing into the bar stool.
  • Used our new Wii as a "you better be good or you can't play" reward system for the B~ kids.
  • Taught Grandma Rauzi how to electronically bowl.
  • J~B~ (Robbie's 11 year old nephew) drove his own 4-wheeler to the top of Two Tops... with only one minor incident!!
  • Went to all the shops in Yellowstone and came out with only a few purchases. (i.e.; sweet new sunglasses for me, a rip off Janga game for Rob's new school classes and some cool laundry/toy baskets)
  • Bransen effortlessly drove his 5 year old cousin T~B~ crazy trying to play with T~ toys. T~ spent most of the time is his upstairs bed so that Bransen wouldn't touch his stuff.
  • Strolled through a few "antique" shows and realized Robbie's sister T~ already had all the cool family antiques that Rob and I want. (T~... hands off, the rest is OURS!!) ;)!!
  • Got the B~ kids to help with the dishes after every meal.
  • Immediately realized that your own bed is the most magnificent mattress that we've ever slept on.
  • After a six hour 4-wheeler ride to the top of Two Tops mountain, I gathered up the courage to use the great outdoors as my lavatory for the first time in my life!! Luckily, my very prepared mother-in-law had her 4-wheeler packed with the essentials. I've never been so grateful in my life!
