happy birthday ko.ko!!

We're heading on a 8 day road trip over Kohlers actual birthday... so...

We celebrated a little bit early!!

.He makes us laugh everyday.

.He adores his big brother.

.He is ON THE GO - ALL the time.

.He is the cutest little guy I've ever met.

Summer catch-up

Knox Oliver Weekes

This beautiful baby belongs to my brother Dallon and his wife Breezy.

We missed his arrival due to being out of town. We haven't met him yet - but can't wait too!

Bryson's Home

Rob and I missed the reunion; but the kids got to greet him at the airport.

"Yea ok but yea i had thought you had it but ok alrighty."

Man - we sure love having him home.

We haven't laughed this hard in a long time!

Island Park - 4th of July

We went to Rauzi's cabin for a whole week. We had a great time and did lots of fun stuff.

Including a wicked game of "Minute to Win it" (which deserves it's on post!)

Florida - HOSA Nationals

Universal Studios, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Wild Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom

and HOSA competition events all in 6 days.

It was super fun, super exhausting and super humid.

(I haven't stayed up 24 hours straight since Highschool)

Most important part of the trip (for us);

Robbie received a National HOSA Award

"Outstanding HOSA Advisor of the Year"

Lagoon - It's what fun is!

Especially fun in the company of these Wyomingites.

We wished Layne and Lette lived closer. We like them.

Putting in our yard. CF procedure at PCMC. Road trip to South Dakota. Kohlers 1st Birthday.

"i do it my-self"

Usually this statement is a relief on those (everybody is crying at once) days.

But, recently - it has proved to be more inconvenient then helpful.

Recent potty breaks have consisted of the following;

1. bathroom door must be closed

2. kohler CANNOT wait by the door

3. roughly 10 minutes of complete silence

4. elmo step stool congratulating him 10 times

5. toilet lid SLAM

6. repeating to himself, "flush, wash, light."

7. exiting with his "unders" and pants twisted, turned and tucked in ways that i didn't even know were possible.

8. and a proud repeat of "i do it myself."

and for today's adventure,

we add the following right in between number 3 and 4:

who knows how many times it was unrolled and rolled back up in that 10 minutes of silence

"zoo" rific cousins..

As much as I despise the "geriatric animal patients" at the zoo -

We had a terrific time with our cousins this week.

p.s. Robbie and I are going to Florida next week, CHILDLESS!!

I can't even express the overwhelming excitement.

I love my children, but at this point -

I'll probably love them more from Florida.

Is it wrong that I think this is hilarious?
