Happy Daddy Day!

Happy Fathers Day to my sweet husband. Bransen and I are lucky to have you. Thanks for all your love and making Bransen sleep through the night.... That's the best gift you've ever given me!!

Updates...

We got to go visit Papa yesterday at the Fire Station. Nik and I took pictures of all the grandbabies for Papa for Fathers day to put on his desk in his new office. The kids had a good time climbing the ladders and sitting in the big trucks! Aren't they the luckiest kids in the world!!

And.... Since I have slacked on my blogging efforts for a few weeks.... We are a little late sharing the latest news.

BRANSEN is now a WALKER!

Since the walking skills have begun - every room he enters looks like a tornado has recently came through. He destroys any sort of order or organization. But, it is fun to watch him reach these milestones in his life. I can deal with the mess...

Amelie O. Weekes

Dallon and Breezy welcomed sweet baby Amelie Olivia Weekes into this world on Sunday, June 1. (Her original due date!) D&B moved to California about a month ago, so we haven't had the chance to hug and kiss their beautiful little girl. It's amazing how you can love someone just from seeing a picture. We are so excited for D&B and baby Amelie. And were so glad that all went well...We can't wait to meet you and we miss all three of you!

Count Our Blessings

It was almost a year ago that we were lucky enough to "catch" Bransens stomach problems and get them corrected quickly. We were truly blessed with a good Pediatrician that recognized the symptoms and knew that he needed help immediately. Being brand new parents and watching your sweet, innocent, new little baby being hooked up to monitors, tubes and being poked with needles breaks your heart. Watching them wheel your tiny boy into surgery being completely powerless in helping your baby is absolutely gut wrenching. The only thing we could offer him was hugs, kisses and all of our love. We were truly blessed as a family to have him in our lives. And we are so thankful for modern technology that saved Bran Brans life!

Thankfully, he made a full recovery and began to "chubb" out within days. Looking at him today, you'd never know he starved for the first month of his life!
